note to self internet headquarters:

You lose some, you win some!

It is sadly, reluctantly and perhaps even a little creepily that I pass on the news the beautiful Melbourne store and original Note to Self stockist Order & Progress is no more. Thanks to Cath, Katrina and all the staff for their support and loveliness and all the best for the future!

On the up side, NTS can now be purchased from the Australian born, New York based online store The Pacific Express. Sitting alongside Common Projects shoes, James Cameron jackets, original Phil Stern photographic prints and much more to come, we are very chuffed indeed to be amongst such esteemed company in such a nice virtual home.

Oh, I should really update the stockists page, shouldn't I! The whole site in general, too. I know, I know!

Totes!

I've starting making a few different totes for The Thousands Shop and discovered that this sort of thing is my bag, man!

This one is made from 100% Japanese denim, has selvage detailing and each bag is constructed individually by my bad self.

Check the Thousands store in person or online for other bags. I'll try and update this with more soon.

Back in action!
Servicing one customer per annum.
This year's lucky recipient: Luke G's blown out Nudie jeans.

Mountain Fold!

I have a friend named Doug and he makes this awesome magazine. It's all about interesting music, with a sprinkling of art and other stuff.

I have ads in both issues so far. Here's issue one:

And issue two:

Obviously, there are far more interesting things to look at it in there apart from NTS ads, but the ads are actually quite good too. Esteemed company.

Here's a link to the Mountain Fold site.

Andrew jeans

As well as the popular (and narcisistically titled) Max raw selvage jeans, there is a fresh batch of the Andrew stretch jean now in stock and available from NTS stockists.

Photobucket

They're a 2% stretch jean in a slim fit. The indigo ones are awesome, they have a subtle wash/brushing finish going on that is a slight departure for me, but a tasteful and mature one. You'll see, they look awesome. The black ones are just that: Black as midnight on a moonless night.

Pocket detail on the indigo ones. The pockets are made from a 9oz. Japanese striped denim, which is a bit thicker than regular pockets, guaranteed not to rip. Very luxurious, a quote from Andrew himself.

I'm wearing them right now and man am I happy.

Dazed & Confused

I just got a nice write up on the Dazed & Confused website. Click on this text for the link.

Also got a mention on popular fashion blog the White List.

New stock arriving in stores in March, firstly a revamped selvage jean in black and indigo, named the Max jean. Humble to a fault.

Restricted Premises

I have a new stockist! Following an 'overnight' courier delivery to Sydney two weeks ago, 3 styles of Note to Self jeans can now be found on the amazing shelves of Restricted Premises in Kings Cross.
The store was opened earlier this year by Ian Nessick (founder of Mooks, Flinders Way and now Scyrte) and Gareth Moody (Chronicles of Never, co-founder of Tsubi), it looks incredible and stocks all locally designed and manufactured stuff that I am very honoured to be sitting alongside.
Click here for the store site or here for a write up by Gabe. While you're at it, click here for a list of all my stockists.
